George Arrondeau died from wounds on 6th November, 1914, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 4th Middlesex battalion was part of 8 Brigade, 3rd Division that had arrived in France at the beginning of the war and had been in action for much of the time since then.
